United Airlines company, just like the American Airlines company before that, will be now offering premium travel mileage bonuses for their elite customers. This will be valid for the flights made in the period between 9th January through 28th February. The members of the United Mileage Plus frequent flyer program will have the chance to earn up to 12 000 bonus award miles for the flights they make and they will also get bonus miles.
The special bonuses will be offered for all First Class and Elite passengers that use the services of United Airlines. According to the new bonus chart the long-haul flights will bring miles in the range 1000 – 12000 miles, while the short-haul flights will bring miles between 250 and 1000 in number.
Based on the conditions applied, the flight segments that qualify here and are included in the special promotion are those flights that are operated by United Express or United Airlines, as well as those flights that are marked by the United airline company but are operated by Austrian Airlines, Air Canada, All Nippon Airways, Brussels Airlines, Lufthansa, Copa Airlines, as well as Swiss International Airlines.
In order to get the bonus flight miles, the members do not need to register to become part of the new promotion. Instead, the bonus miles will just automatically appear on their MileagePlus accounts in a period between two to four weeks after the flight had been made.
Travelers should know that the promotion of United Airlines is valid only for the first two months of 2015 and they should act in that period if they want to make use of the promotion and the premium fares.
